Applied innovation platform

There's a transformation between science and industry. We're with you from start to finish.

We bring together science, biotechnology, engineering, applied artificial intelligence, economic analysis and a wide network of partners to turn complex problems into solutions that are concrete, viable and scalable. We don't advise from the sidelines: we co-create.

We think outside the box, with our feet on the ground.

The name

CRIZA comes from chrysalis.

The passage from science to industry is a metamorphosis. While it's happening, it doesn't have the beauty of the final form — it demands method, work and stages. But that's what makes what emerges — a technology, a product, a business — come out strong enough to fly. Our place is inside that process, through every stage — implementation included.

What we do

One table, every capability a development needs

We start from a concrete problem and analyze it from every angle — technical, scientific, environmental, economic and commercial. From there we identify opportunities that usually stay hidden, and build the solution and the business from the earliest stages.

Science and biotechnology

State of the art, trial design, technology selection and scale-up from lab bench to plant.

Applied artificial intelligence

A team of specialized AI agents — scientific research, evidence, market and economic analysis — works every case alongside the human team.

Economic and financial analysis

Business model, cash flow, valuation and fundraising from day one.

Network

Connections with researchers, labs, companies, institutions and investors across the Córdoba Biotech Cluster ecosystem.

How we work

In stages, with decision milestones

The engagement moves forward in successive stages. Each one has its own objectives, deliverables, budget and decision milestone. We move forward when the results justify it — and any stage can be reshaped or discontinued at its close.

  1. 01

Technical and commercial feasibility 90 days

Determine whether there's a technical and business opportunity solid enough to justify a proof of concept.

MilestoneContinue, reframe the search, or close.

  2. 02

    Proof of concept 3–6 months

Demonstrate, in a lab or controlled setting, that the chosen path works technically and economically.

    MilestoneA validated, reproducible path.

  3. 03

    Industrial pilot 6–12 months

Validate the solution under real operating conditions and determine whether it can become a viable industrial unit.

    MilestoneSuccessful pilot.

  4. 04

    First implementation

Design, finance and implement the first commercial unit at industrial scale.

    MilestoneUnit in operation.

  5. 05

    Scale-up and commercialization

Turn the first validated experience into a solution that's replicable across other plants and markets.

    MilestoneReplication or license.

The model

A partner in the development and in the business

Role

We join as a strategic partner: project direction, coordination of the scientific and technological capabilities, economic analysis and scale-up strategy.

Fees

By stage, with independent budgets. Both parties' commitment grows as results come in.

Risk

Shared. CRIZA takes a stake in the technology and the business that come out of the joint work.

Decision

Always the client's. The system builds and proposes; the choice belongs to whoever brings the case.

A biogas plant in Argentina

Challenge
The biodigester's effluent is currently a management cost: high water volume, nutrient-rich.
Approach
A staged biorefinery: extract value from the components — mineral fertilizers, bio-based products — and resolve the liquid surplus.
Status
Technical and commercial feasibility
Case file · in progress

An agricultural bioinput scaling up

Challenge
An already-validated scientific development that needs to move to industrial and commercial scale.
Approach
Regulatory strategy, business structure and alliances, financial model and fundraising.
Status
Structuring the alliance
